Nutella Cookies

Nutella Cookie

If you like Nutella even a little bit, then you MUST make these cookies! They do crisp up a bit so if you prefer cookies soft, I would use a little less flour and under cook them a few minutes. I added extra Nutella and used a little less sugar than called for, so don’t be nervous to play around with the base recipe.


  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract



Yields roughly 36 cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. In a bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl mix the butter, Nutella, and sugars. Add the egg and vanilla and stir until smooth.
  4. Slowly add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until combined.
  5. Spoon out cookie dough onto cookie sheet (I used parchment paper to line the baking sheet but it’s not necessary).
  6. Bake about 10 to 12 minutes.
  7. Enjoy!
